Hong Kong, China is where my humble story begins. I don’t remember any of my time in HK so I’ll jump to the part where I moved to Shanghai. I'm grateful for my childhood - each year was a formative year with equal parts athletics and academics, with just the right amount of Chinese 熏陶 (infusion) and western values osmosis. After some hardcore brainwashing on the virtues of a liberal arts education, especially when coupled with the US “NCAA sTUdEnT-aThLEtE experience” (assuming you think D3 athletes are athletes), I ended up enrolling at Haverford College, a “hidden ivy” (I know, it’s so well hidden you didn’t even know about it).

 

Joking aside, I’d like to think I had a wonderful experience (did I though?). However, being at a non-target school like Haverford brings a host of challenges when it comes time to recruit for Investment Banking (probably one of the most target-school-heavy processes out there). I believe that through my trials and tribulation, discussions with hundreds of alumni and professionals, and insights gleaned from friends and mentors, I’ve come to understand this game we call Investment Banking Recruiting so well that I can now teach you how to play it. I hope this bio gives you more insight into who I am and intrigues you enough to keep scrolling…
